StoryMIKEL FORESEES TWO FUTURE CHELSEA STARS

It is the view of the Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi that two players will become stars in the nearest future both for club and country.

Mikel named Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Chalobah as the duo whom he expects to shine bright soon at both club level and country level.

In the preparations for the England U21's Euro qualifying matches to be played against Kazakhstan on Thursday, which will later be followed up by matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina, the England's U21 boss, AidyBoothroyd's has invited the duo to become part of the squad.

Mikel is strongly of the belief that their call-up to the England's senior squad would only be a matter of time and as far as they perform well and work hard at the club level for the Blues.
So far, Loftus-Cheek this season, has been able to make two starts in the EFL cup. On the other hand, Chalobah made his first team debut in the same competition in the 4-2 win over Leicester City.

Mikel was very optimistic about the possibility of them becoming stars when asked by Goal.com, if his young teammates could make it that far to become part of the England Squad
"Why not? I think they are now doing it for the under 21s so I think they will. Loftus-Cheek is a great player, Chalobah is a good player. If they want to play for England then they will have a role to play one day. England has a massive load of talent out there, so they have to work hard and make sure that in the years to come that they will still be there."

About how far they can go at Chelsea, Mikel also voiced his optimism about the possibility of them becoming future stars at Chelsea. But he is of the opinion that to get to that level, they have to put in a lot of hard work in other to get the rewards.
